On December 3, Google began rolling out a new core algorithm update. Though Google updates its algorithm an average of seven times per day, the core updates are generally much bigger and usually only happen a couple of times a year.
The core updates generally take a week or two to finish rolling out, and at this point it’s not clear how much the update is going to impact search results. During these times, it’s very normal to expect fluctuation in rankings as the update continues, and we are monitoring site performance very closely as well as staying up to date on any news from the industry journals.
